Ballyburn’s full-sister makes her debut at Navan and she’s owned by John Magnier

Ballyburn

Storm Darragh is set to make landfall in Ireland at around 3pm on Friday but we are hoping racing can still go ahead on Saturday at Navan, who host another stellar card. It has to be of interest that Ballyburn’s full-sister makes her debut in a maiden hurdle so we are going to take a closer look at her now. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips on the website and we landed another accumulator on Thursday so the tips are in good form.

12.32 Navan

The 2m maiden hurdle could turn out to be a very informative contest as a couple of them are Grade 1-entered, including Henry de Bromhead’s Workahead who could turn out to be a very classy staying type for the future.

Another horse that sticks out is Mouse Morris’s Meetmeinstlouis, who is a full-sister to the top-class Ballyburn. Willie Mullins’ star horse has four full-sisters but this is the first one to see the racetrack.

Moon Over Thefirth was unraced, and two unnamed ones born in 2016 and 2017 never even got registered. What makes Meetmeinstlouis even more interesting is the fact she was purchased by John Magnier, one of the richest and shrewdest owners in the game.

Bought for €62,000, she is a sister to six winners including Ballyburn, Noble Endeavor and Minella Daddy. It’s very evident that she is going to need a trip in time but it will be interesting to see how she fares in the betting on her debut. Make no mistake, this is a very deep race so she will need to be good to win it.
