Willie Mullins is busy at Ballinrobe on Monday and the bookies will hate this Lucky 15

Willie Mullins has a 33 per cent strike-rate at Ballinrobe in the last five seasons and that means he could be the man to follow at their meeting on Monday. The €100,000 Mayo National is the big race of the day and Mullins has sent a large team over. With that in mind, we’ve picked out four of his best chances across the card and combined them into a Lucky 15. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

4.25 Ballinrobe

Belloccio has been a bit hit and miss over hurdles so far but this is the easiest task since winning his maiden at Punchestown this time last year. His fair third behind Punchestown Grade 1 winner Irancy at Fairyhouse last month now looks like very good form and he probably didn’t stay when last seen. Dropping back in trip here, a return to winning ways could be on the agenda.

5.00 Ballinrobe

Yoradreamer remains a maiden after three starts over hurdles but his most recent effort here over shorter trip suggests he’s more than capable of winning at this level. If the significant step up in trip suits, Mullins’ six-year-old is likely to be bang in the mix.

5.30 Ballinrobe

Straight Home improved for the switch to handicaps last term and she has won two of her last three starts in this sphere. She was a very comfortable winner here over a furlong shorter and the handicapper responded with a 9lb rise. It would be no surprise if there was little more to come from her.

6.00 Ballinrobe

Westport Cove was a neck away from winning a beginners chase at Wexford last month and wasn’t disgraced when fourth in a competitive handicap at Plumpton after that. This looks like an excellent opportunity to get off the mark and he’s unlikely to be far away.
