Hosting top class races in both the Flat and National Hunt calendars, Haydock is one of the most prominent tracks in the UK. From in-depth preview analysis, to accumulators and Lucky 15s, we have you covered at myracing.
With all our runner by runner previews and most of our multiples going up the night before the action, you’ll have plenty of time to view all our selections before all the day’s racing!
Whether you’re looking for the key jockey and trainer statistics for the flat or the jumps, we have you covered with the in-depth analysis above on the best strike-rates at Haydock!
A circuit of just over a mile and a half, there is a six-furlong chute so that races over sprint distances can be run on a straight track.
There aren’t many undulations, so in that respect, it isn’t too demanding. However, the weather in the North West can make the ground extremely testing. This is more prominent in the jumps season and it can pay to search for mudlarks for your tips in those conditions.
Over sprint trips of five and six furlongs on the straight track, it is an advantage for your tips to be drawn middle-high as there is a bias to being able to race up the stands rail.
For seven-furlong races, low numbers are favoured, as races are run around a tight bend and those numbers are nearer the rail.
A number of great races take place at Haydock throughout the year, but on the Flat the Group 1 Sprint Cup in September is the highlight. It has a great roll of honour, with the most recent winner being The Tin Man.
Over jumps the Grade 1 Betfair Chase is the first leg of the Chasing Triple Crown. Over 3 miles in November, it can be a real stamina-sapping test. It’s been won by some real stars in the past, with recent victors such as Kauto Star, Silviniaco Conti and Cue Card.
With so many options in terms of where to place your bet, most bookmakers will have daily offers for their existing customers to stand out from the crowd. These can include extra place races and price enhancements on many of the day’s best races.
With so much top-class action at Haydock each calendar year, you might be looking to open a new account to take advantage of some offers. Look no further than our free bets page for all the best current bookmaker deals!
All of our big-race analysis goes up the day before the action, so you’re always one step ahead with my racing if you’re looking for Haydock racing tips!
