Tips for Kilbeggan Races

County Westmeath, Ireland, is the home to Kilbeggan races, which has hosted meetings since 1840. It is a summer focused National Hunt track which often attracts runners for top trainers.

Course: A relatively small track, a circuit is just one mile, one furlong. Sharp bends, undulations and tough jumps mean our tips look for good jumpers and often favour front runners. A slight uphill run to the finish means stamina is a handy attribute.

Feature Race: The Midlands National Handicap, run over three miles and a furlong in July, always attracts a quality field thanks to the large amount of prize money available. Our tips will be available the night before each renewal.
